Maria Farantouri was the initiator of this project, dedicated to the whole oeuvre by Mikis Theodorakis. The four interpreters are of different age and have a different musical style. All of them could express their admirations for the songs of Theodorakis in their musical way. This double album gives an idea of the wide range of songs written by the greatest composer of Greece folk songs.
