Cantodiscanto was founded in the early 1980s by guitarist Guido Sodo, with the aim to re-interpret the popular musical traditions of southern Italy. The constant drive for research and experimentation has led to an extensive discography, which gradually expanding its view towards to the whole of the Mediterranean. With this album Cantodiscanto (Guido Sodo ? guitar, vocals; Paul Caruso ? percussion; Ivan Valentini ? sax; Frida Forlani ? vocals, flute) starts the journey in Naples, with many songs sung in Napolitean, and travels on many countries of the Mediterranean.
