Jensen & Bugge is the story of Mette Kathrine Jensen St?rk and Kristian Bugge, who grew up in the same neighborhood outside Vejle (DK) but first really met at the Music Conservatory and in 2001 formed the duo Jensen & Bugge which is now one of Denmark's undisputed busiest duo within the traditional instrumental Danish folk music. Now, 20 years later, with many CD releases, thousands of miles and gigs at home and abroad, they are releasing this CD with some of their favorite tunes. In the accompanying 12p. booklet they describe some of the stories associated with the melodies and thus also a description of some of the duo's experiences during their career, countries and people who have meant something to them.
