Antonella Serrao is a musician and music composer who studies and performs world folk music and instrumental music. Playing several different instruments and composing for herself and others. She's also a social worker who works with disadvantaged people and communities. 'Cunti Cantati 2.1' is a album that was born from the desire to set to music poetic dialectal compositions belonging to the popular culture of Calabria and Reggio Emilia in particular. This work aims, on the one hand, to evoke already existing literary works to preserve their memory, on the other hand to propose new interpretative readings through a creative and original musical experimentation.
