Case Kamarainen is the international quartet of drummer Tomi Kamarainen. The band was formed in 2018 while he was studying at the Rhytmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, where he met Polish pianist Grzegorz Tarwid, saxophonist Marek Konarski and Norwegian bassist Petter Asbjornsen. The debut album Waiting (Eclipse music) was released in November 2018. And now the new album Joyride will be released. The stylistic description would be versatile modern jazz, which offers an enjoyable variety of moody images. Mostly serenely beautiful, even delicate touches. A pleasant acoustic sound. Joyride is a very fresh album that exudes intuition, new energy and the band's typical skilful painting of soundscapes.
