The theme of this album is based on free variability, which is abundant in folk music but has received little attention so far. Various forms of improvisation can be observed not only in pastoral tradition, but also in instrumental peasant music and singing culture in general. One of the most beautiful symbols of this musical freedom is the outlaw. Outlaws are bachelors who protect their access to the world with the unbreakable freedom of their souls. The title of this album also refers to this, as the word "outlaw" that pops up as the main motif is uttered twelve times in the songs. the goal is not to evoke snapshots of the past, but to express beyond bounderies in the musical mother tongue inherited from the old masters. |
