A stunning selection of slow airs and laments of Scotland performed by fiddle maestro Paul Anderson. Paul hails from Royal Deeside in Aberdeenshire and is one of the finest exponents of the Scots fiddle tradition, he carefully selected some of his favourite tunes for this album. The album highlights his passion for some excellent tunes of the masters which includes compositions by James Scott Skinner, William Marshall, Hector MacAndrew, Niel Gow, James Crockat, Nathaniel Gow, James Macpherson, Donald Riddell, Charles Grant along with Paul's self-penned tunes.
