"Nordic Route" is a new album by mandolin/guitar player Petri Hakala and accordion player Markku Lepisto from Finland. This album consists of all original material. The influences of the musical paths of both of them are fused together. From Canadian French to South America, through Ireland to Central Europe without forgetting Scandinavia. They are still on the tracks of the old masters in their own way. This recording was made in a home environment because they both had a strong vision of how their instruments should sound. They have a strong mutual feel of how their duo should sound.
