Band of Heysek are a very unique phenomenon on the Czech blues scene. With their uncompromising, hard blues, they have already attracted attention. Last year, they recorded an unusually large portion of music right in the cradle of the Mississippi genre featuring R. L. Boyce and Kenny Brown. The first part is now published under the title 'Juke My Joint'. This is a raw record that was actually improvised during a single eight-hour recording session. Fast, without studio spells and separate playing of instruments, on the contrary, nice as a band at a joint music session. And when you add to that the portion of authenticity that Mr. Boyce, who also adapted the lyrics to his image, and Brown bring in, it can't go wrong.
