The partly forgotten collections of Zoltan Kallos were used as 'raw material' by Karoly Cserepes. He has placed the original archival footage in a metropolitan setting, bringing tradition and the old close to us in time and space. There are many intuitive elements, feelings and play in the selection, not necessarily conscious, but very Cserepes. After ?Blacklake?, ?My name is Elvis? and ?The Big Slalom?, which were made with a similar technique by the artist, here is the next in what could be called a series. All Cserepes albums'share a common specialty: they invite distant worlds to meet. Listen, love it!
