Based on the compositions of violinist Steen Jagd, he and the other two traditional players Kristian Bugge (violin) and Malene Daniels Beck (piano) now release their album 'Jagdselskabet'. As a trio, they have been playing traditional and newly composed melodies in the Danish fiddle tradition for the past 10 years. They have met each other in the folk music scene over the years ago, and formed this trio based on traditional melodies as well as melodies made on the shoulders of Danish folk music and dance tradition. However, they got busy with other things. But then they happened to play at a couple of dance events and picked up this repertoire again. It's a great that Steen, Kristian and Malene have wanted to be part of this project!
