On the first Monday after the summer holidays Arnold de Boer decided not to start the morning with a pile of emails about cancelled, relocated or possible future concerts but instead to walk around Amsterdam, following the beltway, both on the inside and the outside. Every time he came home he immediately walked on to the attic and sat down with his guitar on his lap behind his recording equipment. Then he recorded what came into his head. From those recordings he made this album. He has never made music like this before; instrumental, acoustic and free playing, improvising. It is simple, minimal, it is music with limited means, direct and clear.
