Markku Lepisto is one of the best-known proponents of new Finnish and Nordic accordion music. Now he releases his fith solo album ?Solos?. The album consistc of new contemporary folk music instrumental tracks fort he three row accordion and also older compositions from the early 2000s. Some of the compositions have a strong minimalistic approach and it fits very well tot he accorion as an colourful and wide range instrument. These compositions have got the inspiration from different styles of folk and contemporary music, but the basic ground comes somehow always from the finnish folk music and Southern Ostrobothnian accordion tradition.
