There is something of megalomaniac on this debut album by Pedro Branco. As if to begin his journey with a tribute album, full of collaborators and small flushes. But Pedro Branco is not exactly a rookie. This teacher and songwriter has already had a long career, but confined to a discrete circle. Only now, this formally exuberant, shows himself to the world, with the ingredients of a big bang, as if all this material were compressed and only now found an opportunity to expand. The record is set up as if it were a show. Musically it is of great wealth. Pedro Branco not only reveals himself to be a writer of songs, in a classic line, but also a remarkable arranger, with a broad vision about his own music.
