The Brest guitarist takes a look at his musical career..... and it's a first: solo!
Jacques was born into a family of musicians and so his first influences came from there, the arrival of American folk song and later the emergence of the Celtic wave of the 70s with Alan Stivell and Dan ar Braz, which would change many things... Since then his idea has been to play with the boundaries of these styles by including a dose of contemporary music, and also an improvised approach. A stroll through the land of abers (also in reference to John Abercrombie) where you can see Gerschwin and Kristen Nogu?s rubbing shoulders, Irish, Breton and more personal compositions?
