The eleven songs on the album Szabadon are based on the dialects of Hungarian folk music - the Danubian, Highlands, Great Plain, Transylvania, Moldavia. The compositions on the album are based on at least two folk songs from each of the major regions, which dress the original melodies in an exciting guise, with special attention paid to the cimbalom and improvisational violin playing. Naturally, there is an interweaving of authentic folk music - to which all the members of the band have a strong personal attachment - and the need and knowledge of contemporary creation and fresh improvisations.
