Unique poetry, music and graphic art album by Martynas Juchnevicius, the author and vocalist of Lithuanian prominent indie rock band Lygiai Lyja, that was well known in 1990s. His project Marts is exploring creative works by Martynas' father Eduardas Juchnevicius (1942 ? 2011), one of the most interesting and brilliant Lithuanian artists in Atgimimas (National revival) period. It appears to be a unique transcendental succession - father's poetry was revitalized in music and singing of his son. 13 songs of album 'Sv. Roko Suo' ('Dog of St. Roche') are made in original downtempo blend, creative connection of psychedelic rock, ambient electronic, jazzy experimental music. |
