An amazing album by one of the most authentic and fascinating figures of the international world music scene, maestro of diatonic accordion Riccardo Tesi. For this record (originally released in 2012 but not available until now in the Benelux) he assembled a quartet of himself, Daniele Biagini at the piano, Damiano Puliti at the cello, and Michele Marini at the clarinet, to re-interpret some classics by Tesi himself and some new compositions. The result is a both intimate and extravert album.
