Gasparyan, Djivan & Lian Ensemble - Pangea

Six master musicians each rooted firmly in their towering tradition came together without prior rehearsal to create Pangea. Djivan Gasparian (Armenia) on duduk, Swapan Chaudhuri (India) on tabla, Miroslav Tadic (Serbia) on guitar and Randy Gloss (USA) on percussion joined the Lian Ensemble members Pirayeh Pourafar (Iran) on Tar and Houman Pourmehdi (Iran) on Tonbak for this crafted piece. What unfolds is a rare display of color and artistic singularity welcoming each other in a spirit of tenderness and play.
