Dangus, the longest running independent music label in Lithuania (started in 1993), promoting a modern living outlook of the ethnic heritage. The company publishes original native Baltic works, mostly post-folk, authentic folklore, rock, electronic, experimental and other subcultural Batilc music, with a strong focus on the quality and design of the product. This compilation presents some distinctive music created on the fringes of the Baltic scenes during the dark times of the pandemic and war. The tracks are selected from Dangus released CDs and LPs during 2021-2023 to reveal the variety and magic of alter-native vibes, hidden between West and East.
