The debut album ?Love So Strong? features no less than seven original compositions by Scottish singer/songwriter, Davie Anderson, including the fantastic opening track, I Fell in Love in Vatersay, as well as his own versions of some classic traditional Scots songs and the well-known Irish ballad, Carrickfergus. Now, armed with the full complement of six strings and a full band, Davie mixes Folk, Americana, Rockabilly & Blues on acoustic and electric guitars, bass and E-Bow. His influences are as varied as Big Country, Buddy Holly and Robert Burns and he has taken his music to the USA, Germany, Ireland and Northern Spain. |
