Giovanni Battaglino's musical activity sees him involved in an incalculable number of projects in recent years, ranging from songwriting to tradition, from theatre to opera. This time, with his first solo album and abandoned the role of frontman of Le Malecorde, we find him busy measuring himself with twelve songs that bring together friends he met during his long artistic journey. First of all his family, since the Battaglino's seems to be really a formidable sound tribe, and then guests and friends to give body to this complex record, with complicated sound structures that take the risk to seem at times a baroque agglomeration. Giovanni Battaglino's voice is an instrument that trains to bring words in a light flow, never arrogant.
