Markku Lepisto is one of the best-known proponents of new Finnish and Nordic folk accordion music. Now he?s releasing the album ?Bellows and Pipes? with the Finnish concert organist Mikko Helenius. The album consists of both traditional and contemporary folk music arranged for the diatonic accordion and organ. The album was recorded at Kapyla church in Helsinki. The church has a great accoustic and the size and the sound of the organ was perfect fotr this combination. Markku Lepisto is known from the Samurai Accordion with Riccardo Tesi, Kepa Junkera, David Munnely and Simone Bottasso.
