One of the greatest ambassadors of the kora, the Senegalese musician and singer Ablaye Cissoko, joins forces with the itinerant polyinstrumentalist Cyrille Brotto. Here, it is the accordion that the Frenchman has chosen to accompany the voluptuous playing of the griot. They have immortalised their musical encounter through ten tracks that form an album. Through the ten tracks of the album, the duo explores the spleen of the uprooted and the incomprehension of our world thanks to Ablaye Cissoko and his voice filled with emotion. From curiosity to friendship, the synergy quickly developed to the point of transforming into a musical project, where the Mandingo tradition and the spirit of the European waltz meet.
