Paula Valls presents 'I Am', her first long-term work, produced by David Soler. A more intimitate and stripped-down work in which the silence also speaks in a different register from that of her impressive debut EP 'Black and White'. If 'Black and White' was a first step towards professionalization, an experiment of telling stories of others, 'I Am', completely directed by herself, is a work in which Paula Valls dares to talk about experiences of loozing things not finding oneself, of moments and changes, and of having to make important decisions - a reflection of her accelerated personal evolution, in a tone that is often sad, full of doubt but always, even if only a little, with hope.
