Madagascar is a real centre of virtuoso instrumentalists. Malagasy Guitar Masters is the meeting of three great Malagasy masters of the guitar. Three generations come together: Jean Claude Teta, from the region of Tuléar ,"guitarist with the fingers of a fairy", undisputed master of the tsapiky, with delicate compositions. Chryzanto Zama also from the province of Tulear, a young prodigious guitarist, combines virtuosity, originality and richness of compositions. Joël Rabesolo, born in Antsirabe, has mastered all styles of Malagasy guitar. His rich and passionate playing reveals a Hendrixian fulgurance and a love for the great jazz guitarists.
