In 2014 Amparo S?nchez, the founder of Amparanoia, published the autobiographical novel La Ni?a y el Lobo, which relentlessly tells of her youth in the late 1980s and early 1990s in the Granada region. The album of the same is something like a soundtrack to this hard time that will strongly determine her future life. The idea for the album was born when she decided to move back to Granada from Barcelona in 2019. She met up with companions from the flamenco scene such as guitarists V?ctor Iniesta Iglesias and Eduardo Esp?n Pacheco. Nine of the ten songs on her now fourth solo album are cover versions; in addition, the unreleased piece "Veneno" is a composition by Amparo. |
