The title, ?Ora de Despertar? or ?Time to Wake Up? is both a fun title track about waking up in the morning, but also a deeper "wake-up call" to the outside world that we need to teach our children about Ladino before it fades away. Songs range from learning about body parts, to animals on a farm, ways to say ?hello," morning rituals and more. These songs happen to be in Ladino, but hopefully all listeners, young and old, will enjoy the songs for what they are: fun, catchy and spirited! This is the first children?s album in Ladino ever, and will play an important role in maintaining a language and a cultural heritage of the Ladino/Sephardic culture.
