It is impossible to describe exactly what Transglobal Underground is, because the collective does not appreciate labels and even rejects any form of classification. It is a legendary band from the UK, famous for its live performances, which celebrates its 25th anniversary with an album: Destination Overground. Since their creation in the 1990s, Transglobal Underground has blended styles and influences from all over the world. A world they have always seen from the point of view of their London base. And, just as the word multiculturalism is starting to make a buzz, Transglobal Underground is only following two rules: it must be funky and if a barrier gets in your way, you break it down with bass.
