With this album, produced by guitarist Olivier Giraudo we are witnessing an important period of jazz and a particular approach of it. Olivier Giraudo is surrounded by three legendary musicians of the French jazz scene, among which two have passed away since this recording. Fran?ois Chassagnite, a master trumpet player which was recognized by Chet Baker himself as an upcoming wonder in the 80?s, and the dream rythm section of Luigi Trussardi and Charles ??Lolo?? Bellonzi, who played behind most of the great American jazzmen and were for ten years the back bone of the famous French - poetry & jazz - singer Claude Nougat are working together with the guitar player for a session where you can hear a real complicity and the joy of playing these wonderful pieces. The music is strong and light at the same time, a testimony event.
