info

If you come across Danish folk music, you will meet the legendaty musician Steffan Sogaard Sorensen. He is often playing the double bass, but on this album his rhythmically safe and energitic playing is on the violin. His duo partner is the ragtime pianist Kristian Jorgensen, well known on the jazz and blues scene. The duo first met in 1998 and have since played together for traditional Danish folk dance. It's music that goes straight to your feet, and you can almost see the dancers in the town hall.
