Throughout the melodic folk songs of Hjertebarn, Christian Deichmann's vocal and tanscending texts are raised by Kasper Soderlund's stringinstruments, and in the company of double bass, violin and percussion, emotional tales are bound together beautifully. Genres are mixed, and folk music is fused with strange aristocracy, creating an authentic, spherical and hanheld collection of intellectualism and thought strings. the nine tracks are perforating our everyday life, the light is always on, but we are almost never at home. The songs create a connection to ourselves. It's a call to dream and search for answers in the immersion.
