Case Kamarainen is an international jazz quartet that presents the music of drummer Tomi Kamarainen. Kamarainen was last heard on tour in the United States with artist Janet Evra in the autumn of 2021. The melodies of Kamarainen's compositions are interpreted by e.g. Kathrine Windfeld Sextet and Tim Hagans Quintet and well-known saxophonist Marek Konarski. The piano features virtuoso improviser Tuomo Uusitalo, who plays the traditions of jazz and the influences of free improvisation. Petter Asbjornsen is familiar with several solo productions with double bass. Polish mysticism, the echoes of Norwegian fjords and Finnish romanticism. Case Kamarainen, who draws their music from these starting points. |
