'Unnamed road' is the title of the second work by The Cominmens from Zaragoza, Spain. This band, one of the most outstanding of the jazz scene in Aragon, delves into this work in the relationship between composition, interpretation and improvisation. And it is an innovative, human, accessible, organic and emotional work. ?lex Com?n (guitar), Jaime Vi?es (tenor sax), Jes?s Mart? (bass) and Israel Tubilleja (drums), four of the most outstanding musicians of the Aragonese jazz scene come together in this group, whose journey begins in 2014 but have been sharing a vital attitude with music for many years and playing together in the Jazzen Zaragoza collective. In this new work they delve into the relationship between composition, interpretation and improvisation, as well as the link between its members. Contemporary jazz as a consequence of nonconformism, as well as the need for creation and experimentation, the fruit of personal study and evolution of group sound, of the relationship between root music and avant-garde jazz. |
