This double album - which is more than a record, it's a real collector's item, released in a limited edition - has a singular history. It wasn't supposed to exist. But this 25th anniversary tour, which kicked off in spring 2019 and was scheduled to last until December 2020, was brought to a screeching halt in March after around sixty concerts, halfway through. And it will only resume punctually this autumn, before a full return in spring 2021. It's because the Ogres were prevented from playing live - as they say - in front of people that they wanted to allow their audience to listen to, if not see and take part in, the entire show. It's a way of maintaining a link with the people who give meaning to their whole artistic process.
