An album that unabashedly explores the universe of southern Spain, where everything is spoken with its own accent: jazz that tastes like flamenco without wanting to. A pioneer in this way of saying things, Tito Alcedo, accompanied by a top-quality rhythm section. Most of the songs are versions arranged as bulerías ('How deep is your love' or 'Ana María'), although we also find tanguillos ('Manoir de mes rêves'), bolero ('And I love her'), bossa ('Pena, penita'), musette waltz ('Bistro fada') and three other original songs: a jazz rumba ('Georgia', by Chano Domínguez and Tito Alcedo), a soleá por bulerías ('Luny') and a chorinho ballad ('Prendas delicadas'), the latter two composed by Tito Alcedo. A magnificent album for lovers of jazz improvisation, a mosaic of apparently distant styles.
