Catherine Strynckx (cello) and Paulo Jorge Ferreira (accordion) have come together in Stretto Duo to create a musical involvement that leads to surprising results and a truly unusual sound and a truly unusual sound atmosphere. 'Escape' presents a repertoire consisting of works for accordion and violoncello by international composers (such as S. Gubaidulina or Ilkka Kuusisto), as well as the the premiere of "Touch", a composition by Paulo Jorge Ferreira. An unexpected fusion between the cello and the accordion, which transports us to an unusual sound environment that amplifies and refreshes the tones and timbres of the classical music universe.
