Ahenk's musical foundation is rooted in the tradition of instrumental compositions (saz eserleri) within classical Turkish music. By following the masters, the two musicianshave striven to bring the century-old harmony of the kemence and tanbur into the present day. This journey, which has continued since the 1990s, has forged not only a shared musical language but a lifelong friendship, and "Ahenk" has become the name for this bond.
