Mito is an album that Cettina Donato and Zoe Pia have signed with their innate originality, under the banner of healthy improvisation and careful reciprocal listening between contemporary music, avant-garde jazz and world music, using electronic instrumentation on some occasions. An ambitious project that enhances their musical skills, following a harmonic path that begins in the name of Dionysus, considered by the two composers as the God of female emancipation. Sounds contemplates stories interwoven with dreams, mysteries, emotions, allowing us to approach the enigmas of feeling. This type of stories is what we call music: it originates from ancient myths and addresses possible existential futures, constantly fusingand confusing memory and longing, myth and dream.
