The life of novelist and poet Cesare Pavese was short but very intense, framed by tragic events both at home and internationally. At the suggestion of Gianpiero Brignone, during the long lockdown for the Covid-19 pandemic, musician Gianni Virone created a show centred around Pavese, together with clarinetist and writer Pierfrancesco Di Noia. The project acquired an increasingly grandiose dimension, eventually involving an entire jazz orchestra, called upon to express the multifaceted personality of Pavese and his literary works. |
