Theodorakis, Mikis & Maria Farantouri - The Birthday Concert '95

On 29 July 1995, Greek composer, conductor and cosmopolitan Mikis Theodorakis turned 70 and celebrated his birthday on 11 May with a magnificent concert at the Philharmonie in Munich's Gasteig. He was accompanied by Maria Farantouri, known worldwide as the ideal interpreter of his songs, renowned bouzouki player Lakis Karnezis and a band of nine other musicians.
