Oghlan Bakshi - Journey Across The Steppes

Journey Across the Steppes contains Turkmen traditional songs and instrumental pieces performed by the young Turkmen bard and dutar virtuoso Oghlan Bakshi. He started learning dutar from his father, gyjak master ( Abdolghaffar Geldinejad). When he was 9 years old he was granted the honorific title Oghlan Bakhshi, meaning a person who has mastered the art of playing dutar and singing at a young age.
