Atse Tewodros Project - Maqeda

The Atse Tewodros Project is a unique project, it is the only Italo-Ethiopian band in existence. 'Maqeda', the Ethiopian name for the Queen of Sheba, is entirely dedicated to female figures from Ethiopian history and mythology, and proposes, through music, a reflection on the feminine and its figures, starting from Ethiopian culture, legitimised by tradition, epic and history, to the sharing of power with male figures.
