The musicians on the album, in addition to Lidsheim herself on vocals, violin and viola, are Morten Qvenild on keys, Stian Andersen on double bass, Ivar Myrset on drums and Embrik Snerte on bassoon and contrabassoon. Emilie Lidsheim is a songwriter and singer, with a classical violin education from the Norwegian Academy of Music and Barratt Due. In recent years, she has distinguished herself as a creative musician, both as a singer-songwriter and as a curious and searching musician within a wide range of expressions and genres; song, contemporary music, world music, theatre music, pop and classical music. She has toured with A-Ha, Det Norske Kammerorkester and Odd Nordstoga and worked with artists and ensembles such as No 4, Christel Alsos, Marthe Wang, Javid Afsari, Anne Hytta, Oslo Philharmonic, Oslo Sinfonietta, Det Norske Solistkor and KORK.
