Inventionis Mater - Dimentionis Mater

On this new album, Inventionis Mater meets double bass player Ferdinando Romano, voted 'Best New Italian Star' in Top Jazz 2020, and featuring Napoleon Murphy Brock (Tenor Saxophone, Vocals). Inventionis Mater began as a project with the meeting of clarinettist Pierpaolo Romani and guitarist Andrea Pennati in 2011. Their aim is to transcribe Zappa's great music for such an unfrequented duo as clarinet and guitar.
