The fact that it is the Greek island in the Ionian Sea, the 'mother' Zakynthos of Ugo Foscolo and the evocative Zakynthos, a destination for artists and sailors, that inspires guitarist Francesco Bruno's album may seem quite clear once you come into contact with the soft sensuality of the six-string's registers, with the original tracks very well arranged and played, in their jazz essence, in tune with the first-rate rhythmic accompaniment of Andrea Colella on double bass and Marco Rovinelli on drums.
