The band came from a small Marijampole town and consisted of two persons with academic musical education - Gintas Kraptavicius and Darius Klisys. They were assisted on stage by Marijus Sagulinas. MODUS were the first in Lituania to play sampled keyboards, producing timbres of guitars, drums and other sounds, performing their original electronic rock and industrial EBM on several underground events and alternative art festivals.
