Stemmer i Voks - Stemmer i Voks

All 13 songs on the album Voices in Wax are based on the raw phonograph recordings from the Jutland moors from the beginning of the 20th century. The voices from the wax cylinders sing together with Ulla Bendixen in new twilight compositions with pedal organ, mandolin, detuned piano, cello, double bass and discreet electronics, drawing the people and stories of the Danish western moorland into our world.
