To us it means a 12 people on stage singing and performing folk and traditional song from Turkey, Armenia and Anatolia.They are powerful, they are overwhelming, the music blows you away with percussive emotion. It is the most successful ethno band from Turkey/Anatolia, up until now they have sold over 350.000 units in Turkey alone. Adding Laz Georgian, Circadian and Asurian songs to their repertoire, so one might as well call them multicultural street fighters in music. Hemavaz is their strongest album, the fourth in their career. Hem?v?z brings together songs from the same region, yet divided through politically uncertainties.
