Broes - Belgica

In 1897 the vessel 'Belgica' sailed from Antwerp through the tumultuous waters of seas and oceans, passing exotic places such as Rio de Janeiro, Madeira, and Montevideo. In 1898, the Belgica reached the northernmost part of the Arctic Peninsula. Unfortunately, they became trapped in the ice in Antarctica, forcing them to winter there for 15 months. In this fascinating story, Broes drew inspiration for the new album.
